Are you thinking about moving to Morristown, New Jersey?

If you are thinking about moving to Morristown, you probably have questions about the general quality of living, as well as how safe and expensive it is to live there. I’ve lived here for many years and been very happy, and have lots to share.

First let’s start with some basic information. Morristown is located in Morris County, New Jersey. It has a suburban feel, but it's located close enough to New York City to allow quick enough access. Many people live in Morristown and commute to the City for work.

I’ve lived in Morristown for decades and I can honestly say I’ve always felt safe. In my opinion, Morristown is one of the safer communities in New Jersey. As far as the cost of living, I have found it to be reasonable. It’s not that expensive to live in Morristown, NJ if you are making a decent living.

Is Morristown, NJ a nice place to raise a family?

Many people who live in New York City (Manhattan or the boroughs) move to New Jersey, and even more to Morristown specifically, because they want a more relaxed and comfortable lifestyle. In my opinion, the quality of life is much higher living in Morristown. The population density is lower than living in New York City.

Morristown is one of the nicest places to raise a family in New Jersey (I know from experience.)  The schools are great and there is decent healthcare. Plus, as I’ll get to in a moment, there is a great sense of history and many attractions that kids love. If you are considering moving from New York City to New Jersey to raise your family, put Morristown on your list of places to consider.

Overall, I have found Morristown to be a great place to live, work, and to raise a family. Here are the nine things we love about being financial advisors in Morristown, NJ.
